Getting started
Pick your address and send yourself a code. We then ask seven quick questions — your name, what you do, the main button, how people reach you — and build a first draft of your page. Change anything you like, then tap Publish. Nothing goes live before that. Prefer to start from a design? Tap “Skip, I’ll build it myself” and pick a template.
No. The whole thing is built to work on a phone, one handed, on mobile data. That is how most people make theirs.
Four things, in this order. What you do, what it costs, when you are open, and how to reach you. Everything else is optional. Prices are the one most people leave off, and the one visitors most want. Not sure what suits your business? In the builder, go to Page and tap “Improve my page”. It suggests the parts that fit.
Yes, as often as you like. Changes go live when you publish. Nothing is locked. To add more, use “Improve my page” (in the builder, under Page; on a phone, Parts → Page). It never overwrites lines you changed yourself without asking.
Yes. Creators, artists, sports people, speakers and professionals can make one too. Pick “Me” on the first question. Make a page only for yourself or a business you run; pages pretending to be someone else are taken down.
Your address
Letters, numbers and hyphens, four or more. You can change it later. No dots and no spaces, so the same name still works if you later move it to an address of your own. Short is better, because you will have to say it out loud. ourlink.is/sharmasweets beats ourlink.is/sharma-sweets-jaipur-official.
Yes. The old one keeps sending people to the new one for 30 days, then it is released. Update it in your Instagram bio and on anything you have printed before that runs out.
Try adding your city or your trade, like meera-kathak or meerapune. If a name is clearly taken by someone impersonating you, report it and we will look.
WhatsApp and enquiries
Someone taps it and WhatsApp opens on their phone with a first message already typed, addressed to your number. They can change it before sending. You get it in WhatsApp as normal.
We still count the tap, separately from your enquiries, so your numbers show how many people were interested and not just how many wrote in. Plenty of people tap and never send the message, and knowing they were interested is worth something.
So nobody is forgotten. Every enquiry sent through your page's form goes into one list. New means nobody has touched it. Contacted means someone reached out. Follow up means you are waiting on them. Then won or lost, or spam. Two taps to change.
No, and that is deliberate. It is the part of the product that makes the difference. You can ignore it if you want to.
Payments you receive
Yes. Add a Pay by UPI section and type your UPI ID. Your customer taps Pay with UPI on their phone, or scans the QR code we make from your ID, and pays in their own UPI app. You can also add a payment link to each item in a shop.
Straight to your bank account. It never passes through us, and we do not see the payment.
No. We take nothing from what you sell, on any plan. If the UPI ID on your page is ever changed, we email you, in case it was not you.
Languages
English, हिन्दी, தமிழ், తెలుగు, ಕನ್ನಡ, മലയാളം, मराठी and বাংলা. Write your page in any of them.
Not yet. A page is in one language today: the one you write it in. Showing each visitor their phone's language, with a switcher on the page, is coming soon.
No. Names, prices, phone numbers and addresses stay exactly as you wrote them, on purpose.
Your own domainComing soon
This is not open yet. When it opens, you will need a domain you already own, and Pro or above. Then two lines pasted into your registrar's DNS settings and a verify button. The custom domains page shows how it will work.
Once it opens: sometimes a minute, sometimes a few hours, if your registrar is slow to publish the change. We will message you when it is live.
No. When it opens, the certificate will be included, installed and renewed by us.
Google and AI assistants
Pages on a paid plan can be listed by Google. Free pages are kept off Google search, though anyone with the link can still open them.
Yes, on every plan, so they can tell people about your business. If you would rather they did not, open your page in the builder, choose Page, and turn off "Let AI assistants like ChatGPT read this page". Google is not affected. The change can take a few hours to reach them.
Billing and plans
Paid plans open soon; the free page stays free. There is nothing to set up today.
There is nothing to invoice on the free plan. Paid plans, and their invoices, open soon.
Your data
Enquiries, then Export. You get a CSV of everything, including the ones you marked lost.
Write to dm@ourlink.is and we do it within 30 days. We send you a full export first, then hold the data in case it was a mistake, then remove it.
Give them to you. We do not sell them, rent them or use them for advertising. There is no ad network script on your page.
