Terms of use.
The agreement between you and CodeEdge Tech and Ventures Private Limited when you use OurLink.is. Written in plain English on purpose.
Last updated 19 August 2026
When these terms apply
They apply when you make an account, publish a page, or pay us anything. The company on the other side of this agreement is CodeEdge Tech and Ventures Private Limited, CIN U62099KA2026PTC215620, registered at No 53, 4th Cross, Nagappa Block, Srirampuram, Bengaluru 560021, Karnataka.
If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the service. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company or an institute, you are telling us you have the authority to do that. You must be 18 or older.
Your account
- One account, one person. Your login is tied to your phone number and you are responsible for what happens under it.
- Keep your number secure. If you lose access to it, tell us quickly.
- If you add team members, you are responsible for what they do on your account.
- Do not share logins. Add a member instead. It is safer and it is included on Business.
Your content stays yours
Everything you put on your page is yours. Your photos, your words, your prices, your business name. We do not claim ownership of any of it.
You give us permission to store it, copy it and show it, because that is literally what publishing a page is. That permission covers making your page fast, translating it, making the different sizes of your photos, and backing it up. It ends when you delete the content, except for backups that roll off on their normal cycle.
We may show your page as an example only if you say yes in writing. We will ask, you can say no, and you can change your mind later.
What you may not put on a page
This list is short because it is meant to be read.
- Anything illegal under Indian law.
- Scams. Taking money for something that does not exist, or a fake payment page.
- Pretending to be a person or a business you are not.
- Collecting passwords, OTPs, card numbers or bank details.
- Threats, harassment, or attacking a person or a group.
- Someone's photo, name or personal details without their consent.
- Sexual content, or anything involving a child in a sexual way. This one gets an immediate ban and a report to the authorities.
- Malware, or links designed to break someone's device.
- Anything that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark.
And on the technical side
- Do not scrape the service, hammer our servers or try to get around rate limits.
- Do not resell OurLink as your own product unless you are on a plan that allows it.
- Do not use the free plan to run hundreds of pages through hundreds of accounts.
What happens if you break these
Depending on how serious it is, we may take a page down, suspend an account, or close it. We will tell you what happened and why. You can reply, and if we got it wrong we will put it back.
When we take a page down, we send you your export first. That holds even when we are removing you. The one exception is content that is illegal, where the law tells us what to do and we follow it.
Anyone can report a page, and a person reads every report.
Plans and payment
- The free plan is free, with no time limit. We will not switch off a feature you were using to make you pay.
- Prices are on the pricing page. Rupee prices are shown before GST. Indian invoices carry 18 percent GST.
- Annual plans are paid up front. Monthly plans renew until you cancel.
- We can change prices. Existing customers get at least 30 days notice and the current term is honoured at the price you paid.
- If a payment fails, your page keeps working on ourlink.is/yourname and the paid extras stop. Nothing is deleted.
Money your customers pay you
When someone pays you through your page, the money goes from them to your bank account through Razorpay. We are not a party to that transaction. We do not hold the money, we take no cut, and we cannot refund it for you.
That means the sale is between you and your customer. You are responsible for delivering what you sold, for your own refunds, for your own tax on it and for any dispute about it. If a customer complains to us about a purchase, we will point them at you.
What we promise, and what we do not
What we promise
- Your page will not be taken away from you. Export is always available, even when we are closing your account.
- We will tell you honestly when something breaks.
- We will not sell your data or your visitors' data.
- We will not put advertising on your page.
What we do not promise
- That the service is never down. It will be, sometimes.
- That every machine translation is perfect. You can edit any of them.
- That a page will bring you customers. That depends on your business, not on us.
- That every feature stays forever. If we remove one we will give notice and explain why.
The formal version: the service is provided as it is. To the extent Indian law allows, we do not give warranties beyond what is written on this page.
If something goes wrong
If we cause you a loss, our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the 12 months before it happened. On the free plan you have paid us nothing, so that number is zero. That is what free costs you.
We are not liable for indirect losses. Lost sales, lost profit and lost goodwill are examples. This limit does not apply to anything Indian law does not allow us to limit, including fraud on our part.
Ending this
You can leave at any time.
Delete your account in settings. We send you a full export first, hold the data for 30 days, then remove it. If you are mid term on a paid plan, the refunds page covers what you get back.
We can close your account
if you break these terms, if you have not logged in for 24 months and have not paid us anything in that time, or if we stop running the service. In the last case you get at least 90 days notice and an export.
What survives ending: anything about money you already owe, the liability limits, and the sections on your content that were already published.
Which law, and which court
Indian law governs these terms. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction, because that is where the company is registered.
Before going to court, please talk to us. Our grievance officer is the right first step and most things are cheaper to fix than to argue about.
Changes to these terms
We will update this page and change the date at the top. For a change that matters, we will message you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree with the new terms, you can leave and take your data.
