Four roles, Bengaluru

Come and build this with us.

CodeEdge Tech and Ventures is small and new. That means the thing you build ships in days, and the person who complains about it is someone you can call.

Read this before you apply

It saves us both a round of messages.

  • The customer is a shopkeeper on a cheap phone. Not a developer, not a designer, not someone who will read your documentation. Everything gets judged on that, including your work.
  • Whatever you build, you also support. You will answer a message from someone using the thing you shipped last week.
  • Speed is a hard constraint. Pages must open in under two seconds on a mid range Android on 4G. That rules out a lot of comfortable choices, and it is the interesting part of the job.
  • We write things down. Decisions, prices, the things we have decided not to build. If you hate writing, this will be uncomfortable.
  • India first, in eight languages. A rupee price and a dollar price. Indian tax law in the invoicing code. If that sounds like unglamorous detail, it is, and it is most of the work.
  • We are early. The company was incorporated in February 2026. Small team, no big budget, real risk. Ask us about it directly and we will answer directly.

What is open

Business head

Own the revenue. Sell to coaching institutes and multi branch clinics, in the room, in the language they prefer.

Bengaluru, with travel · Pay range being set, ask us for it

What you would do

  • Take the institute pitch to owners and directors and close it. The price is ₹1,50,000 a year as a floor, plus ₹11,000 a centre beyond 13. Your job is to make that an easy yes, not to discount it.
  • Run the walkthrough calls. Twenty five minutes, one real page built live, an honest answer at the end including the times the answer is no.
  • Come back with what you heard. What they would not pay for is more useful to us than what they said they liked.
  • Build the first pilots into references, with their permission, in writing.

You would fit if

  • You have sold something at a five or six figure annual price to Indian businesses, in person.
  • You can hold a room with a coaching institute owner in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi or Malayalam as well as English.
  • You would rather tell a prospect they do not need this than close a deal that churns in a year.

You would not fit if

  • Your experience is inbound only, or a script and a CRM queue.
  • You need a brand behind you. There is not one yet. You are it.

Development engineers

Build the page runtime, the editor and the enquiry inbox, end to end, and keep the whole thing under the speed budget.

Bengaluru or remote in India · Pay range being set, ask us for it

What you would do

  • Next.js and TypeScript on the front, Postgres behind it. The public page runtime ships under 30KB of JavaScript and that number is not negotiable.
  • Build the enquiry inbox properly. It is the part of the product that makes the difference and it has to be excellent on a phone.
  • Work on custom domains, certificates, and the boring reliability that decides whether anyone trusts us.
  • Write the tests that stop a release breaking the speed budget or leaking one company's data into another's.

You would fit if

  • You have shipped and then run a production web product, not just built one.
  • You care about the difference between a page that feels fast and a page that scores well.
  • You are comfortable owning something from the database to the pixel.

You would not fit if

  • You want a narrow ticket and a clear spec every morning. Some days there is no spec, only a customer who is annoyed.

AI builders

Make one typed or spoken sentence turn into a finished page, in eight languages, for about ten paise.

Bengaluru or remote in India · Pay range being set, ask us for it

What you would do

  • Own the generation pipeline. A sentence in any of eight languages comes in, a structured page comes out, and it has to be good enough that most people publish it without editing.
  • Own translation quality. Names, prices, phone numbers and addresses must survive untouched. Human edits must never be overwritten by a later machine pass.
  • Own speech to text across eight Indian languages, and be honest about which ones are not ready.
  • Keep the cost per generation under control and measured, per call, in rupees.
  • Build with the tools rather than around them. If a prompt, a small script and an evaluation set solve it this week, that beats an architecture that solves it next quarter.

You would fit if

  • You have shipped something to real users with a model inside it, and you have fixed its output when it came back wrong.
  • You measure. You have an evaluation set, not an opinion.
  • You are provider agnostic by instinct. Prices and models change monthly and nothing should be hard wired to one vendor.

You would not fit if

  • You want to do research. This is applied, unglamorous and judged on whether a shopkeeper in Kochi presses publish.

Support

Answer people on WhatsApp, in their language, without ever making them feel stupid.

Bengaluru or remote in India · Pay range being set, ask us for it

What you would do

  • Reply to sellers on WhatsApp, mostly on a phone, mostly in a language that is not English.
  • Fix the small things yourself. Change an address, sort out a domain, walk someone through their first page.
  • Turn every repeated question into an answer in the help centre, so it gets asked once and answered forever.
  • Tell the rest of us what is actually going wrong. You will know before we do.

You would fit if

  • You are fluent in at least two Indian languages besides English, in writing.
  • You are patient with someone who does not know what a domain is, and you never let that show.
  • You are stubborn about closing the loop. An unanswered message bothers you.

You would not fit if

  • You want a script and a macro list. There is not one, and writing the first version is part of the job.

How to apply

One email. Say which role, and in a few lines say what you have built or sold, with a link to something real. A page you shipped, a deal you closed, a repository, a support inbox you ran. Do not send a covering letter and do not send a two page summary of your responsibilities.

Write to dm@ourlink.is.

What happens after you apply

First
A reply either way. Yes or no, but a reply.
If yes
A call, then a small piece of real work, paid.
Then
A conversation about money and about what is risky here.

Not one of these four?

Write anyway. If we open something that fits, we will come to you before we put it on this page.
